Sisto Ortiz served in the military for 21 years serving as an enlisted member and as an officer. He held various positions and has led up to 175 personnel as a Squadron Commander. Mr. Ortiz has a background managing contracts and construction projects in both Iraq and various locations in the United States. He led the oversight for a $17M Type III Fuels System at MacDill AFB and oversaw the same efforts to open a $3.6M military airport in Baghdad. He has also served as a Project Manager supporting the Civil Engineer Center at JBSA leading fuels system Planning Studies. Currently, Mr. Ortiz leads a Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization program supporting the Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA E) for fuel systems throughout the Air Force. He leads a staff of 15 personnel and they manage anywhere from 75 to 124 contracts valued at over $75 million depending on the scope of sustainment efforts identified by DLA E.
Edgar Olivas has over twenty years in the construction industry in San Antonio. He has served as a Production Manager for a residential plumbing company, a Purchasing Manager and Vice President of Purchasing for a national home builder. Additionally, he has served as a General Manager for Benchmark Homes as well as owner of EDI General Contracting. He has also managed contracts and acted as a Project Manager for the City of San Antonio. Mr. Olivas completed the 36-hour Project Management Certification course and has a tentative testing date in June 2017. Mr. Olivas, under EDI General Contracting, completed projects for the city of Buda and VIA Metropolitan Transit.
